Aurelien Rousseau, the new Minister of Health, is visiting Lyon.
The former head of the Île-de-France regional health agency and close collaborator of Elisabeth Borne, whose chief of staff he was, travelled to Lyon for his second official visit.
He visited 2 health centres: the Griffon, a community-based sexual health centre (CSSAC) specialising in LGBTQI+ people and sex workers, and "le Jardin", in Bron, which serves people in precarious situations, migrants, LGBTQIA+ people, people suffering from obesity, disabilities, isolation, etc.
From a left-wing background (he was a member of the PCF in his youth), he previously worked in the office of former Paris mayor Bertrand Delanoë and then for the socialist prime ministers Manuel Valls and Bernard Cazeneuve.
