Chromosome, un ptit resto en plus
Chromo_033.jpg
Following the model of Chromosome Restaurant in Nantes or Cafe Joyeux in Lyon, an establishment where adults with Down syndrome work has just opened in Saint-Etienne.
The project stems directly from the life experience of the 14 residents of the PARM house.
Today, it's Anna and Fabien leading the way.
Chef Patricia Bonnard trained them for the restaurant's opening.
The structure, with a capacity of 35 seats, is adapted to the pace of the young workers and is open from Monday to Friday, from 12 PM to 2 PM.
Anna, like her colleagues, cannot read and manages three tables, named “Zucchini,” “Pumpkin,” and “Cherry.”
No numbers, but a colored picture placed on the tablecloth.
“I made the fondant, it’s delicious.”
