Foreign Legion: annual commemoration of Cameron battle, considered as a mythic combat.
April 30th, 1863, the 3 officers and 62 Legionnaires of Captain Danjou’s company held off 2,000 Mexicans. At the end of an epic fight, the last 5 survivors charged with fixed bayonets. Foreign Legionnaires at Carpiagne camp (South East france)
They are equipped with FELIN (Integrated Infantryman Equipment and Communication) combining a modified FAMAS rifle with a lot of electronic devices.
