The traditional Festival of Lights begins this Thursday 7 December in Lyon, and will run until 10 December. The show kicks off in the Parc de la Tete d Or.
Ceux du fleuve
Between the meandering waters of the Saone and the imposing architecture on Fourvière hill, we are invited to lose ourselves in wandering dreams. During the night, imaginary creatures come and visit sleeping people, sharing in the adventure of sleep and creating collective images and dreams. Behind the facades of houses, when everyone falls asleep next to their cell phones, imaginations run riot and re-enact strange scenes, against a background of music that adds a fine depth to the images. Thanks to the soft, colourful design, we see ourselves in a different light. This evocation, blending seamlessly into the environment, keeps us very much awake in the here and now.
