On Thursday January 25, Laurent Wauquiez, President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, presented his new year's greetings to the population and elected representatives - 1,800 people, by invitation only.
The entire Hôtel de Région displayed its support for the farming community, with inverted logos like the town's entrance and exit signs.
To show his support for farmers, Laurent Wauquiez gave way for several minutes to Laurine Rousset, President of Jeunes Agriculteurs 43 and a cattle breeder in Haute-Loire, to express the anger of her profession.
