Foreign Legion: annual commemoration of Cameron battle, considered as a mythic combat.
April 30th, 1863, the 3 officers and 62 Legionnaires of Captain Danjou’s company held off 2,000 Mexicans. At the end of an epic fight, the last 5 survivors charged with fixed bayonets.
