Presentation of the French Global Health Strategy 2023-2027 in Lyon
Catherine COLONNA, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Sylvie RETAILLEAU, Minister for Higher Education and Research, and Aurelien ROUSSEAU, Minister for Health and Prevention, presented the French Global Health Strategy 2023-2027 of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in the presence of Dr. Tedros ADHANOM GHEBREYESUS, Director-General of the WHO.
This strategy, the result of a collective effort, defines the framework for the orientation and action of all French actors in this field over the next five years.
The ministers took the opportunity to visit the site of the future World Health Organization (WHO) Academy, for which France is the main donor. A true "school of the future", this Academy will improve international health training when it opens in 2024.
