After mass, Monsignor de Germay blessed the city
Lyon: Gregory Doucet, absent from the Vœu des Echevins.
This year again, he will stay outside.
Gregory Doucet decided to break with a tradition which did not correspond to his vision of secularism. Once again, he does not participate in the commemoration of the Vow of the Aldermen, which is the annual meeting of the Catholic Church.
The mayor EELV will be represented by the president of the Asvel female basketball club Marie-Sophie Obama who will give, on behalf of the Lyonnais, a medal, symbol of the golden ecu, to the archbishop Monsignor Olivier de Germay.
